Kung Hei Fat Choi!

Last week was a very busy week with freezing cold temperatures, ice and snow, fieldtrips to the Olympic Park for cross country skiing, our school Spelling Bee (Congratulations Eric Tatchel!), and to cap it off, Friday was Crazy Hair Day!  We also watched an excellent performance Friday afternoon, Buzz Brass, which I hope inspired our young band players.

Eric and his big brother, Nick, came First and Second in the Spelling Bee!

This week:

• Monday:  1:00 pm Mrs. Hoyrup and Mrs. Kelly-Smith's Classes Skating
• Tuesday:  Mrs. Smith's Craft Club (gr. 2's)
• Wednesday:  Book Club
  
• Thursday:  Running Club and Honour Band
  
• Friday:  Knitting Club; Mrs. Lapointe's class skating; Grade 5 French Immersion Tour de Squamish
  

On Friday, Jan. 27th we will be visiting all schools in Squamish to talk to grade 4's about the program.

On Thursday, Feb. 2nd, we will have a meeting for parents and students interested in French Immersion at 7 pm in our library.

Registration will begin on Friday, Feb. 10th at 8 a.m.  No registrations will be accepted before this date and time.
